What travellers say after they fly

“Very convenient with professional staff and competitive pricing. The experience from booking to collecting my car was very efficient. My car was waiting for me on my return after a long trip. Great service!”

Mark

“Ideal for what we required, great price, no drama meeting the bus to collect our car on our return, hassle free collection, would use again.”

Stephen Wells-Johnson

“This was the slickest service I have ever had from a meet and greet. My car was already waiting for me in the car park when I rang to say I was through passports and had my bags. That never happens! Brilliant!”

Scott Spence

“Use this service every time we travel from Manchester Airport and never had any issues. Just drive up, drop off the keys and straight into the airport. Just as easy on the way home. Slightly more expensive than other parking options, but definitely worth it.”

Dave Brookes

“Used to secure meet and greet with company SURE, several times now as convenient, polite and reliable team as location close to terminals.”

Gillham

“Excellent service — prompt, correct and very easy to use.”

rachel edwards

“Drop off and pick up were both excellent.”

Robert Bie

“5 Stars all the way. Looking forward to using them again.”

Xbone 44

“Really great price and superb service. Prompt, clear, efficient, professional and friendly. Excellent company. Thank you.”

Amanda

“An excellent 'no problem' experience on both drop off and pick up at Heathrow T5. Everything was well documented and organised and the car was clean and in a good state on return. Highly recommended.”

Alwyn Dudley Jackson

“Very happy about the service, everything went smoothly from the beginning till the end, will book again. Thanks”

Mrs Andreea Balaban

“The whole process went smoothly. Dropped off at airport, crossed over to the terminal. On return, telephoned the number as requested, car was already at the airport waiting for us. Checked car over, all good as when dropped off. Perfect Service — Thank you.”

Heathrow Park & Ride Parking

Park & Ride is the usual way to spend less at Heathrow: you park the car yourself at an off-airport compound and take a shuttle to T2, T3, T4 or T5. Shuttles typically run every 10–20 minutes, with a transfer often around 5–15 minutes depending on the operator and terminal.

Official Long Stay and Priority Park & Ride sit next to the independents. Compare frequency, last-bus time and reviews with the total — not the sticker figure alone.

What to check on a Heathrow Park & Ride product

Look at stated transfer time, whether the shuttle runs through the night, and cancellation terms on the product before you pay. Flexible and non-flex products are labelled on the card.

Keep your keys on Park & Ride unless the product says otherwise. Follow the operator’s compound signage on the day, not the public short-stay loop.

On return, collect your bags, call the number on the voucher if required, and take the shuttle back to the compound. A2Z is the booking agent; the operator runs the car park and buses.

Park & Ride for every open Heathrow terminal

Compounds serve different terminals on different routes. Book the product that lists your terminal. T2 and T3 share the central area; T5 is a separate, busier hop; T4 sits off the main cluster.

From 23 June 2026 the Terminal 4 multi-storey is closed. Meet & Greet and Terminal Parking for T4 use Zone A of the Terminal 4 Park & Ride — so some T4 “Park & Ride” products now also cover what used to be terminal parking. Trust the confirmation, not an old map.

Questions about this parking type

How long is a Heathrow Park & Ride transfer?

Often around 5–15 minutes plus waiting for the shuttle, which typically runs every 10–20 minutes. T4 and T5 can take longer in busy banks. The product card should state the operator’s typical time.

Is Park & Ride slower than Meet & Greet?

Usually, by around 20–30 minutes once you include the shuttle wait and journey — worth factoring in for early flights.

Does Park & Ride serve T2, T3, T4 and T5?

Yes — compare products that list your terminal. Terminal 1 is closed. T4 pickup points changed after the multi-storey closed in June 2026.

How to save money on Heathrow airport parking

Heathrow is the most expensive airport in the country to park at badly, and one of the cheapest to park at well. The gap between a space booked six weeks out and the same space bought at the barrier on the morning of your flight is the single largest saving available to you, and it costs nothing but a little forward planning.

Book well ahead, and book for the terminal you are actually flying from

Heathrow runs across five terminals spread over a genuinely large site, and the operators price each area separately. Booking a compound that serves Terminal 5 when you are departing from Terminal 3 does not just cost you time on the morning, it usually costs you money, because you end up paying for a transfer you did not need. Check the terminal on your booking confirmation rather than assuming it matches your last trip, since airlines move between terminals more often than most travellers realise.

Weigh Meet and Greet against Park and Ride honestly

Meet and Greet costs more per day than Park and Ride at Heathrow, but the comparison is rarely as one sided as the headline suggests. For a short trip with a family and a boot full of luggage, the time saved and the shorter walk can be worth the difference. For a fortnight away travelling light, Park and Ride almost always wins, and the shuttle is a well worn routine rather than an ordeal. The point is to price both for your actual dates instead of assuming one is always cheaper.

Avoid the periods when Heathrow fills up

School holidays, the fortnight either side of Christmas, and the late July to August peak are when compounds sell out and prices firm up. Half terms and bank holiday weekends do the same on a smaller scale. If your dates fall inside one of those windows, book as early as you reasonably can, because waiting rarely produces a better price at Heathrow and frequently produces a worse one.

Compare operators rather than defaulting to one

The official airport car parks and the independent compounds around the M4 and M25 corridor are priced by different businesses with different occupancy to fill. On any given set of dates one of them will be keener than the others, and it is not consistently the same one. Comparing several vetted operators side by side for your exact dates is the difference between a fair price and the first price you were shown.
