What travellers say after they fly

“Used to secure meet and greet with company SURE, several times now as convenient, polite and reliable team as location close to terminals.”

Gillham

“Ideal for what we required, great price, no drama meeting the bus to collect our car on our return, hassle free collection, would use again.”

Stephen Wells-Johnson

“Drop off and pick up were both excellent.”

Robert Bie

“An excellent 'no problem' experience on both drop off and pick up at Heathrow T5. Everything was well documented and organised and the car was clean and in a good state on return. Highly recommended.”

Alwyn Dudley Jackson

“Really great price and superb service. Prompt, clear, efficient, professional and friendly. Excellent company. Thank you.”

Amanda

Xbone 44

“Very convenient with professional staff and competitive pricing. The experience from booking to collecting my car was very efficient. My car was waiting for me on my return after a long trip. Great service!”

Mark

“This was the slickest service I have ever had from a meet and greet. My car was already waiting for me in the car park when I rang to say I was through passports and had my bags. That never happens! Brilliant!”

Scott Spence

“Excellent service — prompt, correct and very easy to use.”

rachel edwards

“Very happy about the service, everything went smoothly from the beginning till the end, will book again. Thanks”

Mrs Andreea Balaban

“Use this service every time we travel from Manchester Airport and never had any issues. Just drive up, drop off the keys and straight into the airport. Just as easy on the way home. Slightly more expensive than other parking options, but definitely worth it.”

Dave Brookes

“The whole process went smoothly. Dropped off at airport, crossed over to the terminal. On return, telephoned the number as requested, car was already at the airport waiting for us. Checked car over, all good as when dropped off. Perfect Service — Thank you.”

Heathrow Long Stay Parking

Long stay at Heathrow is parking priced for a holiday, not an hourly visit. Park & Ride — you leave the car at a nearby compound and take a shuttle — is where most of the value sits for a week or more. Official Long Stay and Priority Park & Ride sit alongside the independents.

Every quote on A2Z is for your actual drop-off and return dates. Search the real trip rather than a one-day rate, and pick the product that serves T2, T3, T4 or T5 as printed on your ticket.

Park & Ride is the usual long-stay save

You park yourself in an off-airport compound and hop on a shuttle, typically every 10–20 minutes. Transfer is often around 5–15 minutes depending on the operator and which terminal you are flying from.

Official Long Stay uses free buses into the terminals; Priority Park & Ride is the faster official variant. Compare transfer time and reviews next to the total — a slightly dearer shuttle that runs through the night can still be the better week away.

Peak weeks (summer holidays, half-term, Christmas) fill first. Booking ahead is the main lever; turning up at a Heathrow barrier is the expensive way to do a long stay.

Long stay across T2, T3, T4 and T5

Shuttles are terminal-specific even when the compound is the same. T2 and T3 sit in the central cluster; T5 is BA’s large hub and needs its own transfer plan in busy banks. T4 is the outlier — confirm the current pickup zone, especially after the Terminal 4 multi-storey closed on 23 June 2026.

If your inbound flight is delayed, call the operator on the confirmation. Some products charge extra days or waiting time unless late-return cover is included — that is shown on the product before you pay.

Questions about this parking type

What counts as long stay at Heathrow?

There is no single airport definition. Here it means prepaid parking for a multi-day or holiday trip — usually Park & Ride or official long stay — rather than hourly short stay.

Does a longer stay always cost less per day?

Often, but not always. Search the real dates. Peak school holidays can still be expensive on a 10- or 14-night stay.

Do long stay shuttles serve every terminal?

Products on this comparison cover Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. Always match the terminal on your ticket; T4 pickup points changed after the multi-storey closed in June 2026.

How to save money on Heathrow airport parking

Heathrow is the most expensive airport in the country to park at badly, and one of the cheapest to park at well. The gap between a space booked six weeks out and the same space bought at the barrier on the morning of your flight is the single largest saving available to you, and it costs nothing but a little forward planning.

Book well ahead, and book for the terminal you are actually flying from

Heathrow runs across five terminals spread over a genuinely large site, and the operators price each area separately. Booking a compound that serves Terminal 5 when you are departing from Terminal 3 does not just cost you time on the morning, it usually costs you money, because you end up paying for a transfer you did not need. Check the terminal on your booking confirmation rather than assuming it matches your last trip, since airlines move between terminals more often than most travellers realise.

Weigh Meet and Greet against Park and Ride honestly

Meet and Greet costs more per day than Park and Ride at Heathrow, but the comparison is rarely as one sided as the headline suggests. For a short trip with a family and a boot full of luggage, the time saved and the shorter walk can be worth the difference. For a fortnight away travelling light, Park and Ride almost always wins, and the shuttle is a well worn routine rather than an ordeal. The point is to price both for your actual dates instead of assuming one is always cheaper.

Avoid the periods when Heathrow fills up

School holidays, the fortnight either side of Christmas, and the late July to August peak are when compounds sell out and prices firm up. Half terms and bank holiday weekends do the same on a smaller scale. If your dates fall inside one of those windows, book as early as you reasonably can, because waiting rarely produces a better price at Heathrow and frequently produces a worse one.

Compare operators rather than defaulting to one

The official airport car parks and the independent compounds around the M4 and M25 corridor are priced by different businesses with different occupancy to fill. On any given set of dates one of them will be keener than the others, and it is not consistently the same one. Comparing several vetted operators side by side for your exact dates is the difference between a fair price and the first price you were shown.
